2009-2010: Strengthening the intercultural competencies of cross border teacher-communities

The cross-border project implemented by the Szent István University from Gödöllő (Hungary), Faculty of Pedagogy and the Partium Christian University aims to develop the professional competences of teachers, pedagogues living in the Hungarian-Romanian border region. Further project objectives are the enhancement of communication and the promotion of cross-border cooperation between teachers' communities, professional organizations and public institutions. The project was launched in December in 2009 and includes the complex sociological study of the teachers living and working in Bihor (Romania) and Békés (Hungary) counties.
